How do I permanently disable the registration to a specific band?

How do I permanently disable the registration to a specific band?

Currently I always need to refer AT!BAND=? and create a new set accordingly. I am looking for a generic way to globally disable it.

This way I can stick with the firmware provided set without creating a new set.

00, All bands
01, Europe 3G
02, North America 3G
06, Europe
07, North America
08, WCDMA ALL
09, LTE ALL

Hi akn,
There is no way to disable a specific band. You should create a new set band with AT!BAND and then select this set for device.
Ex: new set with B1,2,3 -> AT!BAND=10,“TEST”,0,7,0
Remember unlock device before set band (AT!UNLOCK=“A710”)

Thanks

You need to use at!entercnd=“A710” to allow you to set the band mask with at!band. The command at!unlock is to level 3 unlock a unit which is not available on normal production units.

Please confirm if the user defined band set is permanently maintained by ME (after reboot, firmware change etc)?

How do I maintain a generic band set? for example ALL BANDS - BAND X

I have observed that for “ALL BANDS” the 3G/4G mask is not same across different operator selection.

@akn

Yes it is saved to flash, and no the ‘all bands’ may not be the same across all carrier PRI files depending on the carriers requirements.
