Hi friends,
i’m planning to interface wavecom Q2686H module with the host processor (8051) for sending and reading SMS. I’ve doubts on hand shaking signals…“RTS and DTS” . In datasheet they said that it is mandatory to use RTS and CTS . But the host processor in my project (8051) have only Rx and Tx.
If we are avoiding the handshaking signals , will that make any serious errors during sending the message or receiving the SMS??
please help…
