GPRS connection dropped when sending SMS

Anyone else seen this problem?

Or is it a feature?

When ‘attached’ to GPRS and with a socket open, sending an SMS causes the connection to be closed. Any suggestions on workaround or is this simply a known issue?

Hi dalew,
As I know that at the same time only one GSM service is done. So when you are opening a socket, send SMS will close the the GPRS.
