Ext. Temperature - Class A / Class B, what does it mean???

Hi,

Regarding the Datahseets of the MC Series. There is a class B extended temperature mode with “reduced RF perormance”.
In detail what is this class B?

I know several class B’s:

FCC class B
EN 55022 class B
GPRS class B (no voice)
mobile class (among class A, B CG and CC)

Please refer to "ISO Failure Mode Severity Classification”, ISO Standard 7637 for class A and class B definition.
Additional info can also be found in Product Technical Specification document of the MC module as well.
