BC127-DEVKIT001 - 0x001A errors for iAP configurations

We registered for the MFI, and purchased BC127-DEVKIT001-MFI in Avnet. Trying to enable iAP.

When we send commands which relate iAP configurations like:

get IAP_PARAMS

set ENABLE_IAP=ON

get ENABLE_IAP

always it returns the “Configuration not found” error:

ERROR 0x001A

Why does it happen? How can we use those configurations?

Here are responses for version command:

version

It says the dev kit is for MFi.

But, for config command, the response is like this:

It doesn’t include iAP related configurations.

We checked jumper settings for co-processor according to “Configuring IAP” doc. Here is the picture of our board:

It should correct.

So, what can be the problem?

Still not solved. Can anyone help?

@mlw Could you give us any advices to solve this?

@shu223bonx,

I don’t have one of the blue dev kits, so you have configured it as per the below apps note as the jumper settings look different.

https://source.sierrawireless.com/~/media/support_downloads/airprime/application_notes_and_code_examples/41110796%20configuring%20iap%20rev%202.0_r1.ashx

I would also upgrade to a later version of firmware, for that we are going to need to supply this to you separately (because of Apple rules) so you are going to need to contact one of our channels can you choose one in your area and they should be able to facilitate this.

Regards

Matt

Thanks @mlw for your response! Actually I checked my jumper settings according to the same document which you mentioned. My board’s version (v6) is different from the doc’s board. The settings should be correct, because I checked all of jumper settings.

OK, I’ll try to update the firmware. We are in Japan, so which channel should we contact to be facilitated the update?

Thanks!

@shu223bonx,

This is the list of our distributors in Japan.

I am not in the region so do not know the partners well but from what I do know I think I would go for Altima.
