BC127 call echo - help

I am fighting a call echo issue using the BC127. Audio from the speaker is getting back into the mic and the phone calling the bc127 will hear an echo of their own voice.

I have loaded the CVC demo, but it does not seem to make any difference at all. Can anyone tell me what I might have wrong here?

Hi,

have your ever found the solution for this?

I have tried many ways for the same issue, but noone could help. (Not even Sierra, they are quite unhelpful and unresponsive).

Thanks!

Dan,

You should load the cVc license then tune the gain. Use the cVc parameters to tune the gain and enable / disable the pre-amplifier:

CVC Parameters:
228Z 0000 1A00 8000 0000 XXYY 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0020 0000 XXYY
Where:
Z = 0 for Narrow-Band
Z = 4 for Wide-Band
Where XXYY is the Microphone configuration:
XX - Enable/disable 21 dB Pre-Amp
00 = disabled
80 = enabled
YY - Gain in dB. Possible values are:
C0: -27
C1: -23.5
C2: -21
C3: -17.5
C4: -15
C5: -11
C6: -9
C7: -5.5
C8: -3
C9: 0
CA: 3
CB: 6
CC: 9
CD: 12
CE: 15
CF: 18
D0: 21.5
D1: 24
D2: 27.5
D3: 30
D4: 33.5
D5: 36
D6: 39.5

Thanks!

First I have to buy the license then I will have the cVc option in the config? (Right now it seems I don’t have any cVc option).

Thank you!

Yeah, but all of this should work with the demo license.

I would set theCVC license to all zeros, then try the tool again.

Okay, thanks, I will try this way too. :slight_smile:
