I’m reading the technical specification for HL781x, revision 2 (from March 2022), and noticed the following:
Pin C21 has signal name VBAT_BB, with the function “Power supply for RTC backup”, with the voltage range of 1.8-4.35 V, and is optional.
Pin C63 has signal name VBAT_BB, with the function “Power supply”, with the voltage range of 3.2-4.35 V, and is mandatory.
These pins seem to have different purposes, and importantly, have different voltage specifications, but they share the same signal name, which is referred to in the rest of the specification.
It seems like this could be a mistake, but even if correct, it is quite confusing for hardware designers. Could anyone shed some light on this?
