The forum is missing an “Introduce Yourself” category, where new members can tell the community who they are and what they are doing. This would fill in some of the background information missing on a lot of questions posted, and would allow people working on similar projects or fields to identify each other.

Good idea, but you can write down in your info what you do.
I think too few people use this forum actively, that is the main problem.

This just goes to show that an “Introduce Yourself” section would only be of any use if people would take trouble to make good use of it:
You’ve already said that you’re using a WMP100, which is a GSM/GPRS device - so that adds nothing!
So all we know is still just your name, and that you’re using a WMP100 - which should be obvious from any question you might post on the forum.
