[Hilo] Do you know if analog audio signals are more subject to external perturbation from other radio signals (in comparison with digital audio)? Indeed our analog SLIC or audio path seems sensitive to external radio signals like DECT or GSM.
Answer: The quality of the analog path is at the same level than the quality of the PCM path.
Both paths receive the flow of audio from the same internal source.
In the best case, analog and digital can have the same robustness to external perturbation.
If your system has some weakness or if some components linking to the audio are sensitive to perturbation so yes, the PCM will be more robust.
