Hello,
I used the following command :
./fdt2.exe fx30-3.3.0.wp77xx.sierra.spk
I used fdt tool because I can not download firmware on following link. The download page has “Not Found” error.
https://docs.octave.dev/v2.0/docs/install-the-latest-firmware-on-your-fx30fx30s
then where did you download the fx30-3.3.0.wp77xx.sierra.spk?
if not using fdt tool, how about transfer the spk file to module’s /tmp folder and type the following command in console?
fwupdate download /tmp/xxx.spk
Hello,
I follow the instruction which is linked below. When I try to copy firmware to the device, connection is losing. I tried many USB cable and different computers. The device is connected the computer and then, the device restarting.
https://docs.octave.dev/v2.0/docs/install-the-latest-firmware-on-your-fx30fx30s
For example I type “scp fx30-3.3.0.wp77xx.att.spk root@192.168.2.2:/tmp/” command, the process is die when it’s around %50. if I connect the device and do nothing, I have healthy connection.
can you ping the USB interface 192.168.2.2 when problem happens?
I type the “legato start” and ping the device when problem seen. The cmd outputs is shown in pictures.
But before type “legato start” , I ping the device and the output is in below.
you can try to use fdt tool in windows.
e.g.
fdt2.exe xxx.spk

Hi @e.kasap,
Could you please check the version of the Sierra Wireless driver package you have installed?
Could you please check the source of a newer version is available? Please disregard my previous comment regarding version B4958, that number is incorrect.

Chris
