BX310x faulty connection to terminal

Hi,
one of our BX3105 boards is not responding to AT commands given via the terminal. After pushing the board’s RESET button it doesn’t say ‘READY’, instead it says:

rst:0x1 (POWERON_RESET),boot:0x13 (SPI_FAST_FLASH_BOOT)
configsip: 0, SPIWP:0x00
clk_drv:0x00,q_drv:0x00,d_drv:0x00,cs0_drv:0x00,hd_drv:0x00,wp_drv:0x00

The connecting parameters (baud rate etc.) should be correct. With another board we get a working connection.

Any ideas what’s wrong with the board?
Thanks.

Are the jumper settings the same between the boards? GPIO 27 is the one to lookout for.

Regards

Matt

Thanks for your reply,

we don’t use a jumper at GPIO 27. Should we?
Only for the UART source select (to USB).

Oliver

@Finze,

No you use this jumper to put it into boot mode for a firmware update which would mean it does not respond to AT commands. If its not connected don’t connect it now.

Are there any differences between the working and non working boards that you are aware of? Otherwise go for a firmware download to see if this brings it back/resets something that was causing a problem.

Regards

Matt

We’re not aware of any differences between our boards.

I downloaded the latest firmware version (2.5.0) to the device - apparently it was successful (‘completed with 0’) - but with ‘-v’ it still says ‘BC310x bootloader version V1.0’…
I also tried the old version 1.0.0 but the board is still not answering to AT commands
