Reading an iBeacon or Eddystone Beacon with the BC118

Is it possible to read the data of an iBeacon or Eddystone Beacon with the BC118?
For example, I want to send data from one BC118 module through an Eddystone beacon to two other BC118 modules. Is that possible?

Hi,

Yes you can but your wording is not entirely clear, so you want one BC118 to act a a broadcast beacon and send data out then for two other BC118’s to read that data?

What do the examples in section 18 of the user guide not show you what to do?

The examples in Section 18 only show how to create different beacons, but not how to receive beacons.

When I configure a device like Example 2 of the user guide:

SET CCON=ON
SET ADVF=0064 0064
SET ADVP=FAST
SET IBTP=2
SET IBUD=0102 0304 0506 0708 090A 0B0C 0D0E 0F10
SET IBPW=E2
SET IBEN=ON
WRT
RST

I can receive the data (0102 0304 0506 0708 090A 0B0C 0D0E 0F10) with my smarphone. But with the other BC118 I receive only this:

SCN=B 20FABB027840 T 0 R C5 F 6

But not the data in the Beacon.

How Can I read the data from the Beacon with the BC118?

Can here nobody tell me how can I read Beacons with the BC118?
Or is it generally not possible?
