BC127 battery fast charge

Hello,

I would like to enable fast charge for the battery.
I have followed the design in the documentation (transistor and resistor of 400mOhms).
I have set batt_config On 145 4250 1500 200 .
But I only get 200 mA of charging.
cf documentation, the resistor should rise up the current charge to 500 mA according to the equation I=0.2/R.

Where am I wrong?
thank you

Hi,

The specs only state that you can get 200mA out of the unit so what are you expecting to be able to draw?

Hi,
Thank you for your answer.

I made a screenshot from the datasheet showing 500mA as fast charge in the schematic.

I also find a table with current pattern but it’s from csr8670 datasheet, so maybe it’s not implemented in bc127.

But the bc127 schematic is ambigous I think.

Could you explain me what means the schematic please?

thank you

Fred,

I suspect this is a slight disconnect between the hardware and software teams where the software limits it to 200mA. Can you push this back through our commerical (so distributor) channel to get a proper answer?

Regards

Matt

Hi,

Yes it should be something like that, hardware possibility but limited in software.
It’s ok, 200 mA should be enough for me.

thank you
