Shauno,

Could you send the below commands to the unit?

status
list
config

You say you have tried connecting to lots of different devices, what are you trying to connect to?

Regards

Matt

Matt,

Below is the output from the Status, List, and Config commands. Trying to connect to a smart phone which works with another BC127 Discovery board that we have which has just the standard BC127 module on it not the BC127 HD. I pair my phone and connect, try streaming music and nothing happens the module disconnects from the phone. Here is the information for the connection, trying to stream music then disconnecting me.

Shauno,

Got my hands on another BC127 (none of mine are HD).

Trying to piece together what you are trying to do so let me get this right.

  • Three devices, smart phone, BC127 and a BC127HD?
  • Smart phone connects to the BC127HD.
  • BC127HD connects to the normal BC127.
  • You are trying to stream data from the smart phone to the normal BC127 via the HD version.

Is this correct? Can you give me a step by step procedure of what you are doing and then where the problem is?

Regards

Matt

Matt,

No, one BC127HD Discovery Board. Just mentioned the other non-HD Discovery Board because that works fine and I don’t have any issues with it. Here is the setup

Amplified speakers plugged into Audio Out connector on the BC127HD Discovery Board
paired and connected to BC127HD Discovery Board with Android Phone
Try to stream music via bluetooth to the BC127HD Discovery Board
Music never plays and the BC127HD Discovery Board disconnects from the phone

If I do the above with the non-HD Discovery Board everything works fine, the Discovery Board stays connected to the phone and music streams to the board and is played over the connected speakers.

For some reason the BC127HD Discovery board is not staying connected to the phone and streaming music (see previous messages)

Shauno,

Can you run that procedure and show the log file of it happening? Also include in there the paring and a config command so we can see ow the unit is set up.

Regards

Matt
