Change partition size and retain dual image capability?

Hello everyone,

to resize the partition I can use the way described here https://forum.sierrawireless.com/viewtopic.php?f=179&t=8564. But if the partitions change is the dual image capability retained? Also is there another way to change the partition e.g. when creating a cwe file with yocto? If so how and where can this be made?
