Would I be correct in supposing that you are trying this with Legato 16.01.2 and your port to the IMX6?
I had a look and it seems that this is a misleading error message and the install should have worked all right.
This has misleading message has been patched but didn’t get in to the 16.01.2 tag. It made it in for 16.04.0
The message is confusing, but harmless.
