Strange ttyAT beahvior

Hi,

i flashed kernel and rootfs on the target. All Sierra Packages and Software removed from windows host. No legato installed on target. USB serial converter connected to VMWare Ubuntu 12.04.

Now I can connect the serial AR7554 linux console. If i try to open the microcom -s 115200 /dev/ttyAT there is no reaction. With colleagues native installed ubuntu, ttyAT is proper open able.

What’s the deal with my installation?

Regards,
Micha

Hello,

The AT port does not support local echo. Try typing AT and hitting enter. You should see an OK appear.

Hi,

local echo is not the issue.

It seems to be problematic if you connect follwoing:
microcom /dev/ttyUSBx -> Ar7 linux console -> microcom /devttyAT --> not working

ssh over usb(ecm) -> ar7 linux console -> microcom /dev/ttyAT -> working

Cheining microcom to AT console is not working.

Michael
