[Hilo] Could an Incoming voice call stop the TCP service? How to disable a voice call when ongoing a TCP service?

Answer: Hilo module supports “Class B” mode. The incoming voice call will stop the ongoing TCP data transmission. But it will not disconnect the TCP sessions even after the voice call is finished. Note that:

  • To answer the voice call, please switch to command mode (by DTR or by +++) then use ATA to accept the voice call.
  • Auto answer call takes no effect when module is in data mode
  • If you do not answer the voice call, then after the call is hanged up, the TCP data can be transmitted continually.

To disable the “incoming voice call”, you can use AT+CSNS=4. So when you’re ongoing a TCP service, the incoming voice call will have no any impact, the ongoing data transmission will not be suspended or stopped by the incoming voice call.
When you set AT+CSNS=4, The incoming voice call will be rejected automatically by module. No impact on data call and GPRS call.
