Access IP cams attached to GX450 - Verizon

I have a GX450 running:
ALEOS Software Version: 4.8.1
ALEOS Build number: 006
Radio Module Type: MC7354
Radio Module Identifier: VZW
Radio Firmware Version: SWI9X15C_05.05.58.01 r27044 carmd-fwbuild1 2015/03/05 00:02:40

I wish to connect a switch to the GX450 and two Axis IP cams to the switch. How do I setup the GX450 to allow remote access to both of those IP cameras?

This blog seemed like the ticket, but it does not address the GX series.

Hi mwolfe78,

The steps in that guide are old but should still apply for the GX devices. The only difference is that the Default Interface and # of PF Entries, under Port Forwarding, are not available for the newer software versions. Just enable PF, disable DMZ (recommended), and configure your PF rules to point to the IP of the cameras and their listening ports. Port forwarding will accomplish what you’re looking for.

Nick

Thanks Nick! Turns out a had another issue. The IP address that was issued by Veriz was not allowing traffic inbound. I had to get a public IP address.

Hi mwolfe78,

Glad to hear it!
