Hello... This may be my one and only question uploading F/W?

End user with FXT009 ,

We are using the FXT to send SMS alerts for system failures, I think it may have an old firmware (will confirm when the third party software company finish on the hosting server)

I would like to update the firmware but can’t find a guide on how to do this.

I have the file R7.32.0_fxt009.dwl

Anybody point me in the right direction on how to apply this to the device.

Cheers

Rob

Hiya,

Just be aware that as you appear to be running a custom application in the FXT100 (the Extended AT application) you will have to find an updated version to match the version of firmware you upload.

Due to technical reasons, the embedded application MUST be compiled with the same version of the libraries used by the firmware…

Do you have a compelling reason to update the firmware?

Ciao, Dave

This is a new out of box FXT009,

The unit seems to struggle to auto register to “UK 02” and seems flaky when it is connected.

sending +++ATZ also seems to often result in “ERROR” if a previous command had failed ( especial when trying to use the “O2” Sim.

I have seen instances of “at+csq” reporting “99,99” and saw a fix in one of the firmware versions relating to this and requiring a cold restart.

I was hoping a firmware upgrade would make the unit work more reliable, especially with the “02” SIM

Cheers

Rob
