WP77XX fwupdate fails with console not working

Hi,

I am currently dealing with the following problem:

  • fwupdate checkStatus returns OK
  • fwupdate install WP77xx_Release9.1_PTCRB_GCF blocks after the output “reboot will occurre”
  • after blocking fwupdate checkStatus returns a failure (even after power down/power up)
  • the console never outputs anything. It is completely silent.
  • only way to get out is to update

Hardware: mangoh red board with WP7702

Are there any suggestions to get out of this situation?

Update to this problem:
(silly but it is no problem)

fwupdate install … takes more than 20 minutes without any output.
