# Web based Ace Manager with RV50

We recently purchased some new RV50 modems. I was able to manually set them up using [ipaddress:9191](http://ipaddress:9191) to talk over the web. Is there a setting that I may have missed or is it just some of these modems will not talk and I should be happy to talk to one?

Hi Jayaldrich,  
Couple of things, either a setting or the ip address is not a routable ip. You’ll need to check with your carrier if the ip’s are routable on the internet.  
The setting to allow remote connection:  
Services-\>ACEManager-\>Remote access-\>select either HTTPS only or both HTTP & HTTPS from the drop down menu.  
Click apply and reboot device.  
If this is set to disabled, you wont be able to access the unit’s ACEManager remotely.
