Does W\_DISABLE\_N on MC7354 function same way as on MC7700?
According to Technical Specification for MC7354 it supposed to be identical to MC7700.
On our board with MC7354 installed we see 2.5V on this pin when signal from the host is high impedance (we see 3.3V on MC7700). When this signal is driven low we do not see any effect on MC7354, while MC7700 on the same board would be disabled.

Thank you,
Dmitri Krivchitch

Hi,
for MC7710, AT!PCOFFEN has three values…
0 = Modem will enter LPM (low power mode) when W\_DISABLE is asserted.
1 = (Mini Card devices only) Modem will power off when W\_DISABLE is asserted.
2 = Ignore changes on W\_DISABLE.
I think the module that you are referring has PCOFFEN value as 1.

But for MC7354, AT!PCOFFEN has only two values
0 = Modem will enter LPM (low power mode) when W\_DISABLE is asserted.
2 = Ignore changes on W\_DISABLE.
So you are not able to see the changes when you change the WDISABLE value…

will check internally and will let you know implementation of the parameter 1 on MC7354 module.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi
Does it has any update?
Why does the module MC7354 default value is 1 ,not 0 or 2?
Thanks.
