I’m working with the SDK for the Q2686 and get a link error with no real indication as to the problem.

… Link step in progress …
… Link gcc\_Tracker\_256KB.bin …

c:\OpenAT\IDE\MINGW\3.8.0.1\bin\make.exe: \*\*\* [make\_single\_bin] Error 1
Done.
[wmmake error #1] Build error.

I got this error before when I tried to make by own project. Finally gave up and used one of the samples as a template. Now I’ve done some minor changes, rearranging to simplify. As far as I can see I’ve gone back to what I originally had but the error persists.

This is very frustrating, especially when it take two and a half minutes to do a simple build (why so extremely long??). And there is nothing to tell me what the problem is.

Hope someone can guide me in the right direction.

Thanks

Dan

Hi.

I have egzaclyexactly the same problem:

---------------------------------------

… Link step in progress …

… Link mingw\_modemix\_256KB.bin …

c:\OpenAT\IDE\MINGW\3.8.0.1\bin\make.exe: \*\*\* [make\_single\_bin] Error 1
Done.
Updating RTE kernel file…
no generated DLL found…
[wmmake error #1] Build error.

It appear only in build (RTE). Build (Target) it goes to an end without problems. Since this problem occurred I can’t do anything. I’d treid to reinstal OpenAT but it didn’t helped.

Please HELP!!!

I was also facing the same problem and today got the solution for it.
In gcc/out, a “gcc\_\_256KB\_err\_lnk.tmp” file gets created in such a situation. This file provides the reason of linking error.
