SPI Specification?

The [Fastrack] IESM Product Technical Specification (PTS), WA_DEV_Fastrk_PTS_001, Revision 001, 5th June 2007 says,

… complying with the standard i[/i] SPI bus.

Unlike I2C, I don’t think there is any specific document that specifies the “standard” SPI bus

So, what document does the panel suggest to get the best description of “SPI” as implemented by Wavecom?

(for a start, most “standard” SPI devices seem to name their data signals “MOSI” and “MISO” - but Wavecom use “I” and “IO”… )
