# Quick test SMS RV55

hello community,

I want to use the Quick Test SMS on the RV55, but when I fill in the phone number and click the Quick Test button, I don’t receive any SMS message on the phone. Please help me

Hi @keysling,

- Which ALEOS version and radio module firmware are your RV55 using?
- Which carrier’s SIM are you using? When you insert the SIM, does the RV55 register on the network?
- Please try inserting the SIM into another device, such as a phone, and test if you’re able to send a message.  
Note: Enter the phone number to use for the test message. Click Apply before clicking the Quick Test button. This field is cleared on reboot.
- Besides, please share the log file and template file with me.
