# MC7710 Firewareupgrade via SDK problem

Hi,

I want to use the sierra SDK for doing firmwareupgrade, but it does not work. I can flash the boot file

Do you have any tips for investigating further what goes wrong here?

is the FW upgrade successful even though you get a failed message?

this was a known issue earlier that even after the failure message… the FW was upgraded successfully.

you are upgrading the FW from which version…???

I was using the firmware versions 03.05.24.00 and 03.05.19.04 both with the same problem. However in the meantime I got a patch for the SDK that fixed my problem, it seems to be related to the named upgrade works but the SDK states failed problem.
