Hello Mr. Mat.

I haven’t tried that commands yet and I’m using release from sierra baby website “build4399approved7304.exe”. Prior to this MC7304 is working fine but after firmware update always come out with “no service”. How could I find out an original firmware that comes as a default for this MC7304. For information, I’m from Malaysia and believe MC7304 could cover my country a well.

If its on our site ([source.sierrawireless.com](http://source.sierrawireless.com)) its official and it sounds like you have done the right thing. If you send the commands I should be able to tell what is happening better.

Ok it looks like you have not upgraded the firmware as 4.5.23 is EXTREMELY old, this is not a problem and is also not causing the low power mode. The LPM is being caused by the W\_Disable line being pulled down which is disabling the radio, its nothing to do with the software, if you are using a development kit it is a DIP switch setting.

Hello Matt,

YES. by default radio is OFF then via SKYLIGHT we’ll TURN ON the radio. After RADIO is TURN ON then “no service” messages come out. When checking about current configured band where as below:

AT!BAND=?
Index, Name
00, All bands
05, GSM ALL
06, Europe
08, WCDMA ALL
09, LTE ALL
0A, Oceania

OK
I’m from ASIA Region, do in need to add-in ASIA Region as well.

Regards,

Zainul

Zainul,

There is no Asia/APAC setting, it is the same as the European one.

So when you do not have the W\_disable line pulled what are the responses to the below commands

at+cpin?
at+creg?
at+cgreg?
at!gstatus?
at+csq
at+cops?
at+cops=?

Hello mlw,

Have a good day and thanks a lot. Actually that problem was resolved by downgraded firmware and un-taped #20 pin as mentioned by someone.

Zainul
