I’m trying to install Lenovo EM7455 (PN: SW10H24567) in my Dell Precision 3520 with Windows 10 but the drivers are showing with yellow exclamation mark. I’ve tried all 3 set of drivers (Lenovo, Dell, Sierra) but with no luck.
I’ve also tried the method from other thread about rebranding [EM7455 Lenovo to DELL](https://forum.sierrawireless.com/t/rebrand-em7455-lenovo-to-dell/8914) but still no luck.
I also did try to flash with Daniel Wood autoflash script but I still get the drivers problem.

Please help me. I am out of options.

Thanks

Hi @neagugeorge,

1. Can you share the screenshot after connecting EM7455 likes the screenshot below. Did you get any error/warm message when you draw the mouse onto the yellow exclamation mark

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/sierrawireless/original/2X/2/28a7baa031f9c447dbfe177ccff013f0464dd55a.png)

1. Which/where the Sierra driver did you install for the laptop. Please refer to Sierra source page for the latest build if you did not
[https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airprime/software/airprime-em\_mc-series-windows-drivers-qmi-build-latest-release/#sthash.wKw1UIHK.dpbs](https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airprime/software/airprime-em_mc-series-windows-drivers-qmi-build-latest-release/#sthash.wKw1UIHK.dpbs)

2. Are you using USB 3.0 or 2.0 for the module to connect the laptop. As the Port and connector specifications of the laptop, it supports USB 3.0 so if you use USB 2.0 cable it will not work

Please share if you have any concerns. Help us tick “Solution” if it is useful, it is beneficial to someone getting the same question
Thanks

I used GenericDriverSetup\_5087 from Sierra, from Lenovo Sierra Wireless EM7455 Software for Windows 10 7.77.5094.0103 and DW5811e-Qualcomm-Snapdragon-X7-LTE-and-GPS-driver\_36M27\_WIN\_7.38.4672.503\_A01 from Dell.
That modem is connected in the WWAN slot.
On Device Manager I get:

Hi @neagugeorge ,

Were you able to access AT command when you got exclamation mark? Any interfaces appear?
The issue appears since you’ve used Lenovo EM7455 on Dell laptop. As my opinion, the card is belongs to the OEM cards are obviously meant to be supported by Dell or Lenovo, and not directly by Sierra Wireless. This means that Sierra Wireless will refer you to Dell or Lenovo for support, and they will probably want to know the serial number of your laptop before they let you open any support case. If you buy a module via official channels then you will get support there too
Besides, I would like to share some solutions you can try:

- Try to follow the topic which has similar concern
