# Issues connecting in 2G using PAP

Hi David

I don’t know if this helps but using FW HL7802.4.6.9 . I have found that the following PDP context ID 2 to activate config / sequence works - example is using a standard UK EE SIM

```auto
AT+CGDCONT=2,"IP","everywhere"
AT+WPPP=1,2,"eesecure","secure"
AT+CGACT=1,2

```
