# issue with the connection  to HL6528RD

Hi everybody,

After installing the driver of HL6528RD, I connect the mangoh green to my PC. But nothing happens even in the device manage of my PC. My pc system is windows 10. I don’t know how to fix this problem.

Hi,

The USB on the HL6528RD is not intended for use with AT commands (the original HL6528 did not have USB at all). Additionally mangOH green does not work with HL very well, you are better off running it in a mangOH red.

Hello,

First of all, I’m very grateful for your two answers to my questions, it helps me a lot. I find that the HL6528RD can only connect to the PC by UART. Actually, you said thaht mangOH green doesn’t work with HL very well. It means in which aspect, like excuting the at commands?

JL,

While the green should be able to power the HL up there is no interface/connector which connects to the UART other than through the IoT connector. There are effectively hardware mods that need t be made to make it work sufficiently.
