# How do I get root on an RV50?

I’m still trying to troubleshoot a problem with LuaSec failing SSL/TLS handshaking.

Is there a way to get root access to the gateway? Is there a default password, or can I set one?

Root access to the Airlink gateways is proprietary to Sierra and no access is provided.
