# How can I receive a reception acknowledgement of a sent SMS?

To get the delivery report once you have sent a SMS, configure the AT+CSMP and AT+CNMI commands as follows:

- parameter of AT+CSMP command: bit 5, SRR, set to 1  
(Take care that the parameter must be entered in decimal value)  
- parameter in AT+CNMI : set to 1 or 2.  
It is also possible to set the SMS delivery report in the PDU mode.
