# HL8549 BIP Problem

Hello, we seem to having problems with Open Channel proactive command on HL8549 fw 5.22. The problem looks to be fixed in 5.23 (INT6250-1817 and INT6250-1993) but it is a lot of effort to upgrade many devices. Is there a workaround possible by changing the parameters of the open channel command? Or some other workaround?

Hi,

What is the issue you are facing?  
Have you tested FW 5.5.23 and confirmed your issue is gone after using this FW version?
