# HL7810 becomes unresponsive

We have a serious problem using an HL7810 from an ESP32

We use AT+KHTTPGET to make a series http calls at various times  
The presence of the SIM is checked periodically using AT+CCID

After a variable period of time the modem becomes unresponsive, i.e AT Commands are no longer responded to

I am unable to discern what conditions cause the problem

Restarting the esp32 has no effect - the only way I can recover the modem is to disconnect and reconnect the power.

The firmware version is HL7810.5.4.12.2

Is problem only in +khttpget?

How about +ktcp connection?

Btw, did you also try latest firmware?

I am not sure if the problem is only with KHTTPGET as it is difficult to track down what is causing the issue, but I suspect it is.

Can you direct me to some instructions on how to update the firmware ?

The modem is not connected to a windows machine - it is integrated into a board and controlled from an esp32 microcontroller
