# HL module with mangOH board and Arduino

Hi,

Has anyone had any success using the mangOH dev board ([mangoh.io](http://mangoh.io)) with an HL module?  
Looking at the schematic it seems as if all that was required was to short a resistor (R607) and we should be good to go: the ATmega32 Arduino on the board should now talk to the HL module via UART.

But we get no responses from the HL module.

We can communicate out of the Aruduino Serial1 port: i can attach an ftdi cable out of the serial pins on the shield connectors and see that Arduino is talking serial. Any suggestions appreciated.

What specific HL module are you using and what revision of mangoh?

Can we use the HL8548 with mangoh main socket ?
