Garbage at the end of a reply message

#1

Hi Everyone!

I’m trying to send AT commands using a C++ program. I can successfully send and receive SMS. However, during receipt of message there seems to be some “garbage” attached at the end of the reply. Although it is consistently attached at the end and never anywhere in between it is still something that we should not be receiving. I tried limiting my buffer to exactly the length of the reply message but still the problem persists. I used a CommSniffer to check on the data passing to and from the serial port and the “garbage” characters can be clearly seen.I’m not posting the whole log file. I just hope you get the idea of the problem from the sample logs below. I’m talking about the ý ý ý ý ý characters.
