# Connection via GPRS from external app

My embedded application send & received SMS,  
control relays and few LED’s. It works very well.

I don’t use GPRS and don’t open any FCM.  
The application is written in Basic layer.

External app (PC computer) try to connect to the internet  
via GPRS and it doesn’t work !

I see commands from External app (PC) to Wavecom modem:

AT+CGDCONT=1,“IP”,“internet”  
ATD_99_\*\*1#  
CONNECT 115200

and nothing more.

I don’t see any PPP frame. Why ?

If embedded app is not active (AT+WOPEN=0)  
the External App can connect to the internet without any problems.

Question:

Why External app can’t connect to the internet  
when Embedded app is active ?

Tested on Q24PLUS (firmware 6.57c) and OpenAT3.14
