# BC127 Error 0x0013 & 0x0012

Hello, I am trying to connect with the BC 127 via Putty to learn how to use it. I am able to send some commands, but not others. With the commands I can’t send, I get error messages 0x0013 and/or 0x0012. I have not found these errors documented in a google search. What do these errors mean?

Some commands I **can** use are:  
LIST, HELP, RESTORE (however, the device resets and does not return ‘OK’), RESET (but not always)

Some commands I **can’t** use are:  
RSSI, SEND {TEXT}, CLOSE {ADDRESS}, BLE\_ROLE=…, CLASSIC\_ROLE=…

Hi,

Error code 0x0012 = Command not found  
Error code 0x0013 = Wrong parameter

From the commands you can’t use, which error they returned?

I eventually found the answer in the errors section of the user manual. I was originally following this page for some of the commands: [https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/understanding-the-bc127-bluetooth-module](https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/understanding-the-bc127-bluetooth-module).  
This page is a good place to start but there are some inaccuracies and parts that are not described well.
