AT+CREG=2 always after reverse voltage

Hi,

I accidentally managed to connect the board power up the wrong way which toasted the P-Channel FET supplying the module.

I’ve since replaced the FET and the module powers up and I can return the data rate via AT+IPR? and the SIM ID via AT+CCID? but I get a strange result.

Every other AT+CCID? I get the SIM ID, then all 0’s then Error, then again…

I also now just get AT+CREG=2 constantly.

Is this what would be expected if the module had reverse voltage applied?

Yes: After such abuse, the behaviour becomes undefined - so anything could happen :exclamation:
